WoTG - wonder if this is legit

That seems to be the date most retail outlets list it at as well. I wouldn't be surprised if it was released a couple weeks later though.
 
Yeah, I remember hearing not long ago that this is the supposed release date. Too bad it's the same day Nintendo releases Smash Bros Brawl =(
 
Gives you something to do while servers are down, updating, and trying to log in!
 
We've had that date at work (GameStop) for about a month now, needless to say my copy is already reserved :o Going to be a busy ass day, between that and Brawl.

Uh, if I'm watching the right clip, all it really shows us doing is standing around with a bunch of other folks in the tree watching the same old fly mobs flit around.

Which sounds pretty damn accurat I suppose, standing around someplace with a crapload of people with 1 outta 10 running around randomly in circles outta sheer boredom kinda accounts for most endgame activity in FF, so it's probably the most accurate game clip for a MMORPG ever.

Maybe the water relfects now. That rates an expansion.

Well, that video is a parody remix of the main trailer. ^_^;; Certainly doesn't help that they misspelled a word in one of the in-between frames ("drifs").

I guess I have a few reservations about the possible release date because sometimes stores make them up when they don't have a hard date, but it would be nice if true. ^_^

Btw, the Tokyo Game Show starts later this week, and SE is scheduled to show a lot of trailers including ones for FFXI and FFXIII. I strongly suspect we'll be hearing about at least one of the new jobs, especially if the release date is under 3 months away.

If this is legit, they deseve this:
Square Enix's hint skill lowers 0.4 points.

Why not just say, "OMG HAI guyz! Chk it! WoTG zone gunna b in Dragin's Ary!" Given their awesome spelling in the video, it wouldn't be far off.
 
The video is showing that no matter what the expansion brings, a bunch of people are still just going to camp in Dragon's Aery because the older drops are what endgame people still want.
