I just started FFXIV and I have been enjoying it a lot, been needing a new MMO to get invested in and the Trial is really going well. From what I understanding the 1.0 of the game wasn't that good and that's why they did the Realms Reborn as a "relaunch", what was that like? Did you guys lose your characters? I know regarding PSO2 that was a concern when they announced New Genesis that we would lose our character's we spent hours grinding on. I assume the reception was positive since FFXIV is considered the best MMO right now, but what I am curious on what it was like for the people who were here day 1.
