I've always played Scholar for healer, but have been leveling Sage lately. And now when I go back to Scholar it feels a lot less engaging than it used to. I really enjoyed the variety of damage buttons Sage has, and even the heals required more thought than Scholar.
I'd love to hear from people that played both jobs and what you think of each. Is it generally accepted that Sage is more engaging than Scholar? What do you think can be done for Scholar to make it more interesting to play? Personally, I'd love it if we got another offensive use of aetherflow - like an upgraded energy drain or another way to use the fairy gage.
