In the Live Letter prior to this latest one today, Yoshida said that the "mirage" system of changing the inside size to whatever you want regardless of the size of the outside of it was ready but still being tested. However, there was no mention of it at all whatsoever today. It could be that they mention it as something coming in the 2nd half of the next Live Letter though, that's possible.
Even so, it was first talked about by Yoshida himself about 2 or so years ago as something that was coming in 7x. For 5 Live Letters in a row he mentioned it briefly at the very end as something still coming, just not yet. Well 8.0 is around the corner, so if it's coming in 8.0, then they should admit defeat and say that.
Mind you, we have pay to keep a house, but get no housing updates for years-and now I'm supposed to buy an expansion?? Maybe at the 50% off sale.
