I absolutely loved all these songs, such a turnout since I hated 90% of Dawntrail.
Eutrope's song teases the concept about how this transformation eventually kills them, and her desperation to kill you and be free.
Hector's song is fucking crazy, I still don't know if him repeatedly saying "I'm not afraid to die" is cope or not, and I love that. It's such an amazing metal song with so much rage built into it, and the badass lines like *On your knees, kiss the ring 'Cause I am your king* had me grinning. Also, how he plays down the price he pays *With one sacrifice I'll conquer my rivals* crazy how you can play down dying.
Retsarra's is probably my favourite; I did not mind Solution 9, but I hated its people. They were such cowards to a comical level and just robotic when not crying about the fact they could have random deaths. So to hear a song about how this immortal utopia was this guy's hell instantly had me hooked. *They call this a city, but that's not what I see We're locked in a cell with no key (I can feel the walls are closing in) They've clouded my vision, I'm robbed of decisions* Seeing this idea of Solution 9 for him was a great idea to explore.
