Heya cats! Long time no freakin' see! I stumbled across this today. Just wondering what folks know about it.

Anyone tried it? Thoughts on it? I've heard it's still got plenty of bugs, but looks interesting/promising. All the FFXI without the SE's bad side. Or that's my hope anyway.

Now if only FFXIV would come out soooooooonerrrr ./whine

Promising as in it will be years before it's remotely playable to a certain expectation. If you want to see the Vanadiel world in a different light, it's a nice toy to play around with. Once you play with it and do stuff you can't really do in the real FFXI, it's boring.

What's funny is that if you consider the time they've put into reverse engineering SE's stuff, they could have wrote their own MMO.
